Garden and flower paintings in the Germantown studio
Often limited to one sitting, my landscape works on paper and small oil paintings on site record a moment in time and place, functioning almost like a diary. The larger oil paintings on canvas are made back in the studio, using drawings, photos, and memory for reference. Recently I've turned my gaze from trees and mountains to the garden and from there indoors.
